After our favorite summer camp at Tall Oaks Conference Center was relocated, a group of camp counselors decided to form a non-profit organization to keep camp at our home away from home. The Neuromuscular Access Initiative's sole purpose is to continue to let that family from camp grow and thrive by whatever means necessary.
NAI creates a community for children and young adults with neuromuscular diseases. This is accomplished by providing accessible events where youth with neuromuscular diseases can be around one another. These events will provide experiential education and lasting memories to both the people with neuromuscular diseases and our volunteers.
Our new summer camp, Camp Milton, is the same feel, same place, and same people; the only thing that has changed is the name. We're very excited to continue investing in our favorite campers!
